Screening or metabolomics
We offer screening of plant extracts by means of Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-MS). Metabolites can further be characterized by ultraviolet/visible (UV/Vis) spectra, or detected by means of fluorescens detection (FLD).
Analysis of specific compounds
Analysis of a range of plant constituents or compounds are performed by chromatographic (UHPLC, HPLC, GC) hyphenated techniques (MS, DAD, FLD, ECD, FID). Examples of compound classes are:
- Phenolics
- Flavonoids (chalcones, dihydroflavones, dihydroflavonols, flavones, flavonols, anthocyanins, condensed tannins)
- Phenolic acids, ketones, aldehydes
- Carbohydrates
- Mono- and disaccharides
- Oligosaccharides
- Terpenoids
- Carotenoids
- Steroids
- Fatty acids
Analysis are performed (qualitatively and quantitatively) based on several in-house standards.
